Dubai Internet City is a technology free zone established by the Dubai government with TECOM Investments in 1999, opening in 2000, roughly 25 km south of the city centre on Sheikh Zayed Road next to Dubai Media City. It is a TECOM Group development regulated by the Dubai Development Authority, hosting more than 1,600 tech companies including Microsoft, Oracle and IBM. We see it suit tenants who work in the free zone and want to live within walking or short driving distance of the office.
