Emirates Hills: villas and area guide

Emirates Hills is a gated villa community by Emaar, part of the Emirates Living development alongside The Meadows, The Springs and The Lakes. It was one of Dubai's first freehold communities and was sold as land plots, so almost every home is a custom-built, free-standing villa or mansion. The Montgomerie Maisonettes cluster is the one exception, with a small number of semi-detached villas, and there are no apartments or townhouses. Homes are arranged around the 18-hole Montgomerie golf course and a chain of lakes, with access off Sheikh Zayed Road. We see it suit buyers who want a private plot and a home built to their own plan in an established address.
