Pakistan’s largest developer, Bahria Town, announces mixed-use community in Dubai South

Dubai: BT Holding, the company affiliated with Pakistan’s largest developer, Bahria Town, has confirmed plans to build a mixed-use community in Dubai South, one of the city’s rapidly growing investment hubs.

The project will span over 20 million square feet, with sales of off-plan units expected to begin in January 2025.

Bahria Town, the parent company, is currently working on its flagship township project in Karachi, which will eventually accommodate 5 million residents. The developer is also executing similar developments in Lahore and Islamabad.

“We look forward to work closely with Dubai South to transform this ambitious vision into reality.”

With its Dubai South venture, Bahria Town aims to leverage its expertise in creating large-scale, mixed-use communities.

“Drawing from our vast experience in developing expansive, master-planned communities across hundreds of square kilometers in Pakistan, we are excited to bring this success to Dubai by creating a fully integrated, self-sustaining community,” said Malik Riaz Hussain, founder and chairman of Bahria Town. “We look forward to collaborating closely with Dubai South to bring this ambitious vision to life.”

Recently, Dubai South and Expo City Dubai have seen a surge in new projects, with developers like Aldar and Azizi leading the charge.
