Bahria Town, known for its massive township project in Karachi, expands to Dubai
Dubai – Bahria Town, Pakistan’s biggest developer, has confirmed plans to build a mixed-use community in Dubai South, a fast-growing investment area in Dubai.
BT Holding is developing this project over an area of more than 20 million square feet. Sales of off-plan units are scheduled to start in January 2025. The parent company, Bahria Town, is currently building its flagship township project in Karachi, which will eventually house 5 million residents. The developer also has similar projects in Lahore and Islamabad.
“We look forward to working closely with Dubai South to transform this ambitious vision into reality,”
said Malik Riaz Hussain of Bahria Town.
With the Dubai South venture, Bahria Town aims to use its strengths in developing large-scale mixed-use communities.
“Leveraging our extensive expertise in developing vast, master-planned communities across hundreds of square kilometers in Pakistan, we are eager to replicate this success in Dubai by creating a complete, self-sustaining community,” said Malik Riaz Hussain, founder and Chairman of Bahria Town. “We look forward to working closely with Dubai South to transform this ambitious vision into reality.”
In recent weeks, Dubai South and Expo City Dubai have seen a rise in new projects, with companies like Aldar and Azizi leading the way.
