Ohana joins forces with luxury watchmaker Jacob & Co. for a high-end project
Dubai: A Dh4.7 billion luxurious residential community will soon rise in Abu Dhabi’s Al Jurf area, backed by a partnership between Ohana Development and renowned watch and jewelry maker Jacob & Co..
The project—officially launching in Q1-2025—will feature a mix of sky mansions, canal-front mansions, beachfront mansions, as well as penthouses, villas, and apartments.
This announcement caps an extraordinary year for the UAE’s property market, where freehold developments have spread to nearly all emirates. Significantly, more UAE developers are turning their attention to mansion-style homes amid growing demand from high-net-worth individuals seeking offplan properties both on islands and inland.
Watches worth millions
Founded in 1986, Jacob & Co. is celebrated for crafting timepieces that can cost millions, with its most expensive watch priced at about $20 million. Recently, the brand has been collaborating on ultra-luxury real estate projects in the UAE, including a skyscraper in Dubai.
The new project in Abu Dhabi—‘Jacob & Co. Beachfront Living by Ohana’—is located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Being in Al Jurf, it connects residents to Al Maktoum International Airport and has direct access to Sheikh Zayed Road, which links the two emirates. Prices for the residences have not yet been disclosed, with details expected closer to the project’s official launch.
“We believe in creating experiences that go beyond the ordinary, merging unique designs inspired by our collections with unparalleled luxury,”
said Jacob Arabo, Chairman and Creative Director of Jacob & Co.
Designer appeal:
Over the years, Ohana Development has teamed up with big names in design, including fashion icon Elie Saab for an Abu Dhabi project earlier this year.
“This is more than just a development; it represents the pinnacle of elegance and iconic beachfront living, offering residents state-of-the-art amenities and an unparalleled living experience,”
said Husein Salem, CEO of Ohana Development.
